COPENHAGEN BOMBAY
Formed after the production of Princess at Zentropa Films, this studio based in Copenhagen released their first original brand, Carsten & Gitte in 2008. They already have 10 films to their name, 11 tv series brands as well as work in crossmedia. I really love this studio's branding, and they seem to work in all disciplines -- CG 3D, 2D, stop-motion, live-action and puppetry.
NICE NINJA
This studio was founded on the international success of Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms -- a 2008 CG feature and a theatrical release in 78 countries. They're currently working on their second feature film, and two short TV series as well as having one short film under their belt.
Specializes in animation, visual effects, conceptualization and motion graphics. Produces mainly adverts. Based in Aarhus.
Based in Frederiksberg, the studio has been running since 1990. Having been hired from production on major Don Bluth features, like Thumbelina, A Troll in Central Park and All Dogs Go to Heaven, they now seem to be sub-contracted onto other Danish projects such as Marco Macaco and Help! I'm a Fish, as storyboard artists and animators. They have also dabbled in advertising projects.
Small studio of 50 members, based in Copenhagen and working specifically in children's entertainment.
A.FILM
One of the biggest studio operators in Denmark, they have produced feature films, and sub-contracted a further 31. Four of these are currently in production. The best known are Asterix and the Vikings,Terkel in Trouble, Help! I'm a Fish, The Quest for Camelot, All Dogs go to Heaven 2, and FernGully: The Last Rainforest. They've also produced commercials for corporate names such as McDonalds, Lego, Kellogs, Disney, 7UP, Coca-Cola and Lipton. They also produce shorts, VFX, TV and idents.
GHOST VFX
Specialists in post-production and visual effects, the studio's home base is in Copenhagen. They've worked on mega Hollywood productions from Super 8, to Kick-Ass, to Harry Potter, to Cowboys & Aliens and Stardust. The bulk of their portfolio is made up of advertising work -- their latest having been for Magnum.

Small studio of 50 members, based in Copenhagen and working specifically in children's entertainment.
DANSK TEGNEFILM
Another studio based in Copenhagen, it is built up of animation directors who've been producing work since '76. They've worked in feature and short films, short series and are currently working in games.
MAGIC HOUR FILMS
Mainly work in live-action features but have produced a couple of nice animated children's shorts. They are Copenhagen based.
TUMBLEHEAD
An independent studio in Viborg. They work across 2D and 3D disciplines, in the form of advertising and short films. They seem to have a bridge connection with The National Film Institute of Denmark.
